LIIAR analysis:
L (Media Language) - studio photograph, medium shot,
The model also makes eye-contact with the camera, connecting with the reader and making them feel more involved with the magazine and the student lifestyle, font is bold and bright, cover lines is placed in the left third, white font colour on blackground.
I (institution) - college lifestyle maqgazine
I (ideology) - that college is good and fun and even good looking cool kids can have fun whilst studying.
A (audience) - an american college student. 60,000-70,000 readers
R (representation) - having fun at college and enjoying college life, this is shown the model looking happy whilst carrying educational books.







L (Media Language) - Medium shot, model is holding an acoustic guitar symbolising folk music, quiet relaxing and easy going music, wearing a short sleeved shirt showing his maturity but also symbolising a not too formal persona. Model is smiling showing kindness.
I (Institution) - The original owner was United Newspapers who then sold it to EMAP in 1991 In 2008 EMAP sold its consumer magazine to current owner Bauer Media Group.
I ( Ideology) - That rock music isn't always screaming in your face music with angry and aggresive music but instead can be easy going and pleasent rock music.
A (Audience) - rock and roll, from the age of 13 to 25. not too heavy but fans of music talent.
R( Representation) - that rock music is fun and exciting but also nice and relaxing.
